Material InformationThe elastic used in the Serola Sacroiliac Belt is composed of latex rubber. The latex is encased within polyester in such a manner that at no time, even when fully stretched, is visible; nor does it come in contact with the skin.
The first layer is changed from cotton to an open-cell urethane foam.
The urethane layer has several advantages over the original cotton layer. The open-cell urethane is breathable, more comfortable, moisture-wicking, and hypoallergenic (so it can be worn directly against the skin). Plus, it conforms to body curves better. Due to it's tacky nature it grips so well that it will not move - even on the most active people
No other portion of the belt or packaging contains latex. Additionally, the two pieces of the 1 x 6 inch mesh, non-slip material, on the inside of the cotton webbing is made of a polyester fabric knit with vinyl coating.

"My Physio was treating me for very low back pain and gave me this belt. It got me to through a very painful period and provided the support I needed for “things” to have the chance to relax and heal rather than tensing and tightening and worsening whilst I was undertaking strengthening exercises guided by my Physio. I probably used it for about six weeks for things to get back to normal. I still had to continue to work on things for a bit longer after that but now everything is fine. At first I even wore it at night to get a good nights sleep. Well worth the investment if your Physio recommends it for your injury/condition"

"Arrived quickly, placed it on my hips and wore it for the day. Instant relief and very easy to use. It’s comfortable and very happy to be taking this around Australia, I’ll be doing a lot of driving on our trip and think this will assist my bulging disc, and other lower back problems I have greatly. A recommendation from my remedial masseur."

"As a 73 yo competition rower I have suffered pain in the hips, groin and leg on LH side on particular. The rowing built core muscles to overcome early life back problems but a fall sideways over a fence 4 years ago really exacerbated my pain and presented a difficulty in extending my stroke. Whilst certain treatments relieved the problem a chance comment that maybe I have a sacroiliac problem a couple of weeks ago led me to find out that ot is a difficult thing to diagnose but some physios are now looking at this problem. Going through my history and in particilar the type of incident that exacerbates or restart the problem I tried mimicing the belt using bandages. Instantly I began to get relief from restless sleep and increased movement of hips. I searched around and found a definite dominance of the Serola SI belt. I tried local area medical supply shops most didnt know anything about an SIBelt or didn't carry. Panic as State Championships next weekend. Went online on Monday at 2pm found 66fit, ordered the Serola SI belt at great price, free delivery and received it at 9am on Wednesday. Instant relief and comfort at training. Fabulous result. Xcellent service and price and great product to boot."
